Over the next three years (2020 -2023), RN will focus on:
1. JOB CREATION
Developing micro businesses in order for churches to be self-sustaining and provide employment.
2. EDUCATION FOR ROMA CHILDREN
In many contexts, Roma children have lower rates of completion for primary and secondary school. This is for a variety of reasons; for example, language issues, lack of parental help if parents are illiterate, early marriage, and discrimination from teachers/administrators. Through different programs (preschool, after school help) children are empowered to continue school until completion. RN is going to connect existing programs to the needs in the field.
3. ROMA BIBLE/ THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION
RN will research different Bible/ theological Roma schools in the area. Next, we will facilitate meetings with practitioners, theologians, missiologists, and Roma leaders to design a school that would be self-sustaining and appropriate for both a Balkan context and Roma communities.
4. YOUTH MEETINGS
RN will encourage and help organize regional youth meetings with focus on mentoring and training new Roma leaders.
5. STRENGTHENING COUNTRIES
RN will facilitate country and professional meetings to help practitioners come up with mutual understanding and cooperation on different projects.
